The app does just what I expect. I use it simply for reading. I do not take notes with it, or use the other features. Pure and simple, it is a an electronic form of the Message Bible. It is not my study Bible. I love the simplicity of it.

This is an easy app to use, with good fundamental tools. However, the first update removed a critical component, the overview for each book. Petersons overview was important in setting the stage and understanding the context of the book. It is much missed.

I love all versions of the bible, but what I really love about The Message is it really puts it out there. We use it for our bible studies. The bluntness helps understand some scriptures in other versions. Its fun! Gods word is always a joy to study.

Can not say enough. Refreshing!

I like everything about this app., except that ever since I did the update for iOS 7, my scrolling feature either wont work, or I have to tap it really hard to get it to work. If you could fix that, it would be great!

I love the bible and all the resources that goes with it. I use it every day. It has a wonderful devotional also.

This is one Bible App I read everyday. I love it and strongly recommend it. It is not a study Bible but is perfect for a good read and helps understand what the writer was trying to convey in our modern day vernacular. I like the way I can highlight my favorite verses and use the color options for different thoughts. I use the pink for the verses I love, the green for growth verses, etc.

I love how you can switch from one translation to another and if you have highlighted a passage in one it highlights that same passage in all the translations you have. Most of all... I love "The Message"! It gives me a fresh perspective on so many verses... A new depth... And most of all a greater understanding... For anyone searching for deeper meaning or clearer understanding of the Bible; I recommend "The Message".

I cant think of anything I dont like about this app. Works great, is easy to navigate, and lets me quickly find what I need for my Bible study.

So easy to read and understand! Finding a particular verse is very simple. Of all the translations that I am familiar with this is by far the most enjoyable to read.

So far this app has been a very simple one to use and the scripture is written in a easy to read manner without any loss of meaning.
